Question / Help Extreme OBS in-game lag

So, I have a decent computer; my specs are:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

And, whenever I try to set up OBS with a program that runs at 30 fps; the game drops to around 15 fps and is extremely choppy. I can post a log if you want me to, and thank you anybody that helps or contributes!

Your graphics hardware is weak and most likely holding back your overall performance. Leave the x264 preset on veryfast and downscale your stream resolution further than 1280x720 to see if performance improves. When selecting sources, use either window capture+Aero enabled or game capture You should also revert your scene buffering time under Settings > Advanced to 700.
