Question / Help Epic Pen doesn't record with OBS Studio

Hi guys, I'm trying to get Epic Pen to record on OBS Studio.
I've tried Display Capture, Application Capture etc. etc., and checked that the windows are layered correctly.

I'm running Windows 7 and the most up to date version of both Epic Pen and OBS Studio.
Could someone possibly point me in the right direction of how to get this damn program to show up?

Display capture just captures an entire display. Are you saying that doesn't work?

Are you using second instance of OBS Studio (portable mode, for example) to perform the task? Maybe you have a log file?

You shouldn't have game capture and display capture sources in the same scene, and you should also update obs.

Hi @Harold I removed the additional captures from the scene, Epic Pen still doesn't show. Anything else that could be the problem?

same here, epic pen not working. it shows the tool pen, but not what i draw....

I tried this in old-school OBS and it worked, so surely the technology is there? I can try and use the unsupported version for now, but it isn't great for what I need to do :P

What is your old-shool OBS? an older version, which one?

Try turning on Aero if you're on Windows 7 and have turned it off.
