I've been streaming CSGO recently, but I've come across an unusual issue. I can stream at 1080p, 30fps, ~3000 kbps no problem. There is no stuttering in game, no fps drop or anything. But the minute I set my framerate above 30 (I've tried 60 and 45), the character models in game start stuttering, as if I'm getting massive lag. This is even if I lower the bitrate to 1900 or so and put the resolution at 720. However, there is NO framerate drop, and my CPU is not even at 25% load. The only problem it causes is the "lag" in game.
I've tried setting process priority to the game, and even assigning CPU affinities separately to OBS and csgo so they use separate cores, but still doesn't work. I've also tried changing the x264 preset to superfast, and changing the downscale filter.
I'm honestly not sure if it really is network lag caused by uploading or some sort of CPU strain, but as I said before, my resources are not under any huge load, and my computer should absolutely be capable of handling it. And if it was actual network lag, why would it not happen at higher bitrates on other settings.
Specs below. It's literally a top of the line PC, so I don't know why this is happening. Does anyone have an idea on this?
