Encoder Region of Interest Editor 1.1.1

I don’t think that Kaspersky is a bad antivirus, as evidenced by numerous tests and awards. Okay, can I consider this a false positive?

I'm a content creator and I can't just tell people your antivirus is crap.
It's a false positive, yeah. The installer framework is what gets falsely flagged because some malicious software uses it. The zip/dll itself should show no detections.

I have a small problem with the bitrate when streaming to Twitch.
Tried a lot of different settings, but the bitrate goes up to 9k - 11k bitrate, when I stream with 8k with the x.264 codec.
When I stream with HEVC (I'am in a Twitch Enhanced Broadcast Beta User) that's not a problem and works like a charm.
Only with x.264 the bitrate got heavy spikes, is there a fix or workaround for that?

Hello!
I just installed your ROI Plugin.
When I open the Editor I'm not getting any visual for Center Focus or Manual Focus. Only the Scene Item one works but even that doesn't let me select things within a Group as I do that for organizational.
I'm mainly hoping someone can help with getting Center Focus and Manual Focus working.

Is this plugin abandoned?
Tried to use this, but the user interface is anything but appealing, and no chance since July 2024.
Missing
- Drag and drop
- Even Sliders for the values
- Individual Names for the regions
- Profiles for different games

The technology itself is ingenious. But the way the UI is designed, you really have to force yourself to use it. It's a pain to create more than 2 regions in a scene.

If I make a Manual Region and make it 1920x1080 and prioritize it... will my whole scene just be clearer? Or what will this do to my streams output?

Is this version compatible with version 31.0.1?
I installed it there and can't see any difference. Or could it be because I have my camera in a group with the facecam frame in the scene?

This is one of my all-time favorite OBS plugins. Unfortunately, it's broken on OBS 31. It will only prioritize the bottom half of the sources I point it to.

Great plug in you did what billion dollar companies failed to do.

Great for streaming but, on re-encoding the pixelated zone, i guess it may give work to the encoder and lower the general quality because of that.

So.

How can i apply the same zones to ffmpeg or any encoder?

Maybe offer your project to AMD to boost their radeon boost technology and earn some accolades, you are good.

PD: Is there any chance to lower the refresh rate of the low priority zone so there is even less variance and less work for the encoder??
well maybe i have to boost the pixelation size to get the same effect, but still, just an idea.

Hi guys,

Is there a way to make the plugin work with OBS 29.1.3 version? I don't want to upgrade my OBS.

Thanks!

Why are you sticking with such an old version of OBS Studio, curious? Have you tried any of the newer releases? Most plugins nowadays will want much more recent releases of OBS Studio before they'll even load.
