Echoes... Echoes... Echoes...

Hi everyone,

I’m a casual OBS user. Until now, I used it on an old Acer Aspire E5 running Manjaro Linux (Cinnamon) to record my rather tedious *Project Zomboid* sessions, editing the output with Shotcut. Hurray!

Now, I’m running it on an HP Omen 16 with Manjaro Linux (KDE 6.5), attempting to capture a stream from the Chromium browser (*Skyrim* on Amazon Luna). I need to layer my voice over the game audio, which also includes speaking characters.

As sources, I have configured:
* ‘Screen Capture (PipeWire)’
* ‘Application Audio Capture (PipeWire)’ (intended to get audio from Chromium)
* ‘Audio Input Capture (PipeWire)’ for the microphone (actually a headset with a built-in mic)

The problem is that the audio is duplicated; I hear a distinct echo, and I haven’t been able to resolve the issue. In the Advanced Audio Properties, the ‘Monitor’ option is disabled. Could someone help me, or perhaps point me in the right direction to find the light at the end of this tunnel? :)

Thanks,
Stefano
