Question / Help DotA 2 crashes when I hit "start streaming" or "preview stream"

So my problem is, if I add DotA 2 as a game source, it crashes instantly without any error right after i press "Preview Stream" or "Start Streaming". Any other software like fraps, shadowplay, bandicam is off, even my steam overlay is disabled. I couldn't find any useful info in other threads, so I made a new one.
I've tried using older versions, same problem everywhere.
Also it doesn't crash if I use Xsplit

Well, sorry for highjacking the tread, my game does not crash when I start streaming/preview, so I can't sent a crash log. The second I start recording/streaming the game screen freezes - I can continue playing the game ( I hear the sounds and my mouse commands work) but my screen is showing a "screenshot" from the time I pressed record - so the only solution for me is to kill the game process. Have not tried closing Razer Synapse yet, hopefully that will fix it. Also, I have never had this problem with any other game, that I streamed or recorded ( > 50 titles).

You could still post a log file to see your specs: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/problem-make-sure-to-post-a-log-and-or-crash-dump-howto.97/

Sounds to me that this game is more CPU intensive, causing that lock-up. Also, have you OCed your CPU? Because maybe that, coupled with the stream my be stressing your CPU.
