Docks reset each time when I launch OBS (after new update 29)

Hi,

Even when I replace them and lock the docks, they reset at the next launch.
I already try to remove the global.ini, not working.

The issue (reset of docks positions) appears at launch when "Minimize in system Tray" and "Start on windows startup" are checked in the OBS Settings. If disable, the issue is gone.

I have for now found a way is just untick the "minimize to system tray when started " so when it starts it loads all the things properly and i have the minimize always to system tray ticked so after the first proper start it can be minimized in tray forever which is okayish for now does the job.

Yeah, I don't have any of those things ticked, and it's been happening. But this time OBS crashed and when I brought it up, it wasn't reset. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE

I was able to fix this issue but removing the Stats and Chat docks from my layout. This is obviously a bug that maximizes the size of those docks when OBS launches instead of storing what you set the size to.

I use mine with YouTube, and yes unlinking my YT account and then relinking it fixes it, but having to do this everytime I load OBS is a joke.

What works for me are two things. Don't have it minimized to the sys tray & exit/close OBS before shutting down your computer!

This doesn't directly address your issue but I did recently write a plugin that saves and loads window/dock layouts. It would at least make recovering from this relatively painless. I concur with @adambridges.440984, this problem goes away if the [ Menu Bar | Docks | Stats ] dock isn't displayed. How do we report this officially?
