Question / Help Disconnecting randomly while using OBS

Exactly the same issues as listed in this thread... except I'm all the way over in the UK. ISP is Virgin Media. Tried everything to no avail. Could it not be our ISPs at all? It's frustrating and confusing.

aazzdos: your issue is likely different but with a related cause.

An upstream provider from your internet provider (somewhere between you and twitch) or an interconnect point is being problematic.

I kept my stream running last night because i was at two hours without a disconnect. I just got back on and it was still streaming. That stream was still going smoothly at 15 hours and 37 minutes. So... I dont know why this just randomly happens. Seeing that i didnt get 1 dc after getting dc'd constantly for 5 hours

Same here Coherence.... it's very annoying and when I can't figure something out it drives me nuts until I do.

Windows has nothing to do with it and I'm using Window's 8 and never had a problem before.

You know it's a problem when you try to stream through the xbox one and it still wont work.

Which means that, in spite of any claims to the contrary, it's not OBS' fault.

Nope, just an area where we tried to resolved it so mise a well stick on the thread until we do since their is a quite a few of us here 'trying' to figure it out.

anybody having any luck streaming yet? Im going to contact them and keep contacting them until I get someone who knows what OBS/Twitch is so they can actually understand me.

None at all some times i can stream a whole day with no problems and then next day i get disconnected every 3 minutes...

I am also having the same problems as well and I am in Wisconsin using Time Warner. Glad to know I'm not the only one having issues with OBS.

One person has the same problem from a different ISP is not a trend. What you all have here with Charter seems to be a pretty decent trend.
