Question / Help CSGO In-game Delay.

Hello everyone! My first post here.

I've been streaming using OBS for a while, and I've always noticed this problem. Now that servers are getting shitter and shitter register, it's starting to become more noticable.

When I stream, there's a feel-able delay between what you do in the game and what the server registers. I.e, when I kill someone, there's a slight delay between me killing the person and it coming up in the kill-feed in the top right. Compared to when I'm not streaming, that is. The same with the register of bullets, sometimes it feels slower to see them get hit, slowed or start shooting out blood.

My ping stays the same as it would be normally. I'm from Perth and I stream to Twitch.tv's Asia (Singapore) server. I run on a 100/5 connection and I stream 720p @ 60fps with 2.5k bitrate. If it matters, JTV Ping tester shows that I have 10ms jitter to that Twitch server.

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks (:

See if enabling the Minimize Network Impact box under Settings > Broadcast Settings makes any difference.

Sapiens! It has fixed the issue (: It's even removed some minor ping variation I use to have (just decreases the rate at which it can sometimes spike to pretty much 0). The only other thing is that the "green/yellow/red" box in the bottom right of OBS that shows stream/net quality blinks yellow every few seconds now, but doesn't seem to affect the stream. Is it an issue at all? It doesn't seem to make any difference to stream/net quality.
