So heres my specs

gtx 760
8gb ddr3 kingston ram
i7 4770k

Now I can stream planetside 2 high/ultra with a steady 40-60 fps no problem on 1080, but when i try to stream CS GO on pretty much all low, my fps goes from 300 fps to 120-160. the only switch i made was switching from window capture to game capture, this is because when u play CS GO fullscreen borderless (atleast for me) i get real bad input/fps drops/screen tearing.

I put the quality downscaled to 720 and the fps is the exact same. Has anyone had this issue? any insight would be awesome!

Edit : sry here`s the log http://pastebin.com/5JPkjKzp

well once you tray 1080p30 then 1080p60 then 1080p30 again ... i would recommend staying on 1080p30 OR 720p60 for streaming csgo (720p60 probably looks way better in this case and this game)

then you have multiple capture sources later on i guess one window cpature might me some follower tracker, probably?
if not try a clean scene with only game capture and see how the game performs.

another thing you should add, if you havend already, are some startup properties on csgo

-threads 4 -high +fps_max 150

this makes sure that csgo takes care of all 4 threads with high priority and also limits the fps to 150 which should be more than enough since most gaming monitors are 120/144hz and some with the useless turbo feature 240 but thats another story

if you have tested those make sure to post a log and if possible restart obs after every major change so the logs arent filled with dozen of settings

Ty for the help, ill try it out and see what happens as for capping fps to 150, not gunna happen i have a 144hz monitor and to be really competitive really want 200+ fps. i have tried it at 720 60 fps. but let me make a fresh scene and see what happens. also thanks for launch commands

well 150fps is enough for an 144hz monitor everything above wont be shown and the engine is actually capped at 100fps when it comes to hitbox calculation and whatnot

but you can type +fps_max 200

if you want to as long as you limit the fps

do you have any overlay tools running?

msi afterburner, ts overwolf or some other sort of tool which has an overlay?

another try would be running csgo in borderless window and use monitor capture since you are on win8 there shouldnt be a problem at all.

Nope, no other overlays, but as i said before. For some reason, when i play windows borderless i get really choppy/screen tear/input lag, i have no idea why and it`s the only game i have an issue with running in window/borderless. maybe its just one of those things, i guess. I`de love to stream it but no matter what, no matter how low i put the quality it always hovers around 120-160 fps.
