Hi,

I'm trying to work out how to do a couple of things with OBS from the command line:

• Start a recording from the command line with OBS minimised. obs -start, appears to be the command to start OBS from the command line, but it always starts up in a visible window that obscures parts of the screen (and I'm trying to capture the whole of the desktop)
• Stop a recording from the command line. obs -stop doesn't seem to do anything. Is there a different argument I need to use?

Any ideas?

I think the current commands are not command-line options as you might think of them.
When I created the help file I called them shortcut options:

In general, -start in your OBS shortcut should make OBS start streaming/recording right away. You could use OBS Remote to start and stop it without having to maximize OBS.
