Great plugin! But I wish it had targets on the waveform monitor for where SMPTE color bars are supposed to hit. I would like it if it also displayed the IRE scale.

norihiro updated Color Monitor with a new update entry:

Color Monitor 0.9.4

This is a patch release of Color Monitor plugin for OBS Studio.

Changes in 0.9.4
  • Set minimum size of the property dialog to avoid too small dialog.
  • Hide the old version of "Vectorscope" source so that only one "Vectorscope" is displayed on the "Add Source" submenu.
  • Use app-config instead of the deprecated global-config for obs-studio >= 31.0.
    This will suppress the warning DEPRECATION: obs_frontend_get_global_config is deprecated..
...

The OBS 32 Windows installer hasn't been working for me. The updated plugin files aren't placed anywhere, confirmed by the Everything app. I had to install using the .zip instead.

Here's something that you can use that's quick and dirty that I made.

As long as you're doing Rec. 709, this calculator may be able to help you out.

RGB and Rec. 709 - Luminance Calculator - Waveform and Vectorscope - Distro Copy

This calculates luminance coefficients per color so it would be able to give you the correct percentage of waveform luminance that would be given for any color. Also if you 191 RGB you're at 75% that's equivalent of Rec. 709 color bars.
