CLR Browser Source Plugin [OBS Classic ONLY]

I see that the browser version is up to Chromium 41, while the plugin one is still at 37? Any chance for an update, or is the new version the future of CLR Browser, with the other one getting discontinued?

I have a new version built against the latest stable chromium, but I haven't built CEF with all the bells and whistles.

I will likely do 1 more release for OBS1 in the near future and then move permanently to OBS MP releases.

Hi,

I have a problem with the CLR plugin.
When i start up my OBS and to add something new the CLP doesn't stand in the list.
I have all the requirements on my pc and it won't let me get the CPL in OBS.
Can somebody please help me?

I also saw that the plugin had stopped working so I reinstalled using the latest plugin version for x64 and now OBS crashes whenever I have the plugin included in a scene:

Code:
This crash appears to have occured in the 'c:\program files\obs\plugins\clrhostplugin\clrbrowsersourceplugin\libcef.dll' module.

Hey,

I can't get anything to display in CLR in OBS after updating to .652b, I also tried the browser plugin with OBS MP but that does not work either.

Jokosmash tried helping me out and since I did not have an account, he posted my log here.

Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Thanks,
- QT

The Plugin isnt working right for me aswell.
I'm using TwitchAlert to show me who followed me, but the CLR Browser either only shows the Image + Text and no sound or it doesnt shows anything at all.

Faruton submitted a new resource:

CLR Browser Source Plugin - Allows you to add web-based content as a source, such as web pages and Flash SWFs

Read more about this resource...
I've been having a ton of trouble getting the twitch alerts to work through OBS. I tried transferring the plugin files over like it shows online, but when I go to Add Source, the plugin doesn't show. I have the log files, I'm not sure if that helps. Any suggestions? I just started streaming two days ago so I'm pretty lost on this.

I had some follower alert crashes in OBS.

Let me first say that I have both of the MS Visual C++ Run Times to 2013 and .NET installation to 4.5.x currently installed, 64-bit. I had been getting crashes when I had my follower alert box selected in the Sources window while at the same time attempting to do a stream preview and a live stream. When my follower alert box was unselected, I did not get any crash while doing a preview or a live stream.

Here is how I fixed my problem. Ok so here is what I found out. On the website where you download the CLR plugin ( https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/clr-browser-source-plugin.22/ ), there is an old version of the CLR plugin as well as the newer version. I replaced the newer CLRBrowserSourcePlugin-20140909x64.zip file by installing the older CLRBrowserSourcePlugin64Mark2.7z file.

So now, I don't have any crashes while using the older CLRBrowserSourcePlugin64Mark2.7z CLR plugin file. I certainly don't know why this is the case but I thought I would share the info. Maybe it will help someone else.

My OS is, Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP2.
And so I use
the 64-bit version of OBS. And I use Nightdev follower alerts. I am also using OBS patch (0.652b).

that did not work for me think I am going to have to downgrade OBS. Anyone know how to downgrade but save all my scenes I have made? Do I just backup the %APPDATA% folder for OBS?

Quick question... CLR Host Plugin is showing in the plugin list of OBS... but when I right click under sources and go to Add, I don't see it there.

Hi guys,

I can't seem to find any recent posts relating to my issue.

I've been streaming since February 2015 and I have always used the CLR plugin. Two days ago I bought a new machine which meant installing everything again. I installed OBS, the plugin, updated the .net etc, and nothing happens. I see the CLR host plugin in OBS, I can add a browser, but whenever I enter a web address or address followed by an API key, nothing displays, it's just empty. My chat through Nigth Dev doesn't show up, my host alert through Twitch Alerts doesn't show up, my follow alert through Tnotifier doesn't show up, BUT my donation alert through supportthestream does show up! How very odd indeed, it's the only thing that shows up. If I leave the CLR as obsproject, it doesn't show up, so I don't know why that particular web address and API will but nothing else.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, installed 64 bit only, installed 32 bit only, the plugins are in the correct folders, I have followed every youtube set up video, every online tutorial, the instructions on here and to no avail. Does anyone know what the issue might be please? Thank you for the help in advance.
