I have been trying to record a Youtube video for my Youtube channel but all of the sudden I can't seem to be able pull any game audio from of the clips. Its really bugging because I've been struggling to fix this for a while now and have already made one forum post and it wasn't much help. I think the problem is coming from that my speakers are not the default on the playback section but I've changing them but everytime I do I can't anything through my headset even if I have stereo mix set to listen for it in the recording tab. Heres the log from my last recording..... hope it helps.

These are the audio devices OBS is trying to use:

00:31:54.929: WASAPI: Device 'Speakers (2- Realtek High Definition Audio)' initialized
00:31:54.947: WASAPI: Device 'Microphone (Arctis 5 Chat)' initialized

If neither of those is your default windows output device, then OBS won't hear anything.

the mic arctis 5 chat is my default output device

OBS thinks that is a microphone, which means it is addressing it as an input and not a system output. Is that a headset?

Set the speakers as the default output. Capture the default audio in OBS. Set your headphones as the Monitoring device in OBS in Settings > Audio. Set the desktop audio device output setting to "Output and Monitor" in Edit> Advanced Audio Properties.

i want to use my bluetooth earphones as a mic and headset in obs but i cant, i cant find a way to get the gameplay audio through and i can just get my mic working on it properly, when i do its all crackling noises. How do i do the log things aswell?
