Question / Help Can't hear audio from capture card?

I been having this problem since I downloaded OBS, when I add my capture card to a Scene, I can see the capture card video but I cannot hear anything that comes from the capture card :s

I've changed some properties, look at some forums but I can't find a solution anywhere, how do I fix this?? :s :(

If you want to hear it on your PC you'll need to make sure to tick "Output audio to desktop" in your video devices properties, as usually you will not want to hear it yourself but only send it to the stream.

Actually you have to choose "Use device audio" and then either "Output audio to desktop" if you want to hear it, or "Output audio to stream" if your viewers should hear it. (Red Box)

For capture cards that offer more than one audio input (for example hdmi audio and 3.5mm) you sometimes also have to switch the Audio pin. That can be done if you click the "Open Crossbar"(1) button in the source settings of your capture card (where you also activated output audio to desktop). In the crossbar you first have to switch the Output to "Audio Decoder Out" (2) and then switch through the available "Line In's" (3). You always have to click OK and OK to apply the settings before you can see if it works. But normally you will just have to test 2 Line In's, so the first will be selected already and you just have to try the second.
