Question / Help Can't get OBS to recognise Line-In Sound

Hi,

I've just started using OBS. I have no problem getting it to recognise and stream/record browser windows, programs etc. However, I cannot get it to pick up the sound from Line-In (either front or back input) - whether my coming through my mic or an external audio source (both of which are audible through the PC speakers).

I've gone Add Audio Input Capture > Create New > Device > Mic in at rear panel (Pink) (Realtek High Definition Audio) > OK

Screenshot and Log-file below for what it's worth - this were both taken/copied while audio is playing through the rear Line-In, and I can hear it on the computer speakers, but it's not being picked up in OBS. The same happens with the front Line In when I try to set that up too.

This is very frustrating, so any help greatly appreciated, thanks!
