I am trying to record game play in file output but I am experiencing some audio issues. I cannot select any other desktop audio device besides my speakers without getting the error message "Cannot initialize desktop audio sound, more info in the log file."
What I am wanting is to be able to capture the audio from my headset, but as I just explained I get this error message followed by OBS closing down after I click "OK". I can set it so that it captures my speaker audio, but then I cannot hear the game through my headset since I have to set the speakers as the default device.
Can someone help me figure out my problem? I have tried quite a few things to troubleshoot the problem such as changing different settings and searching for someone that has experience similar issues but with no luck.
