I received approval from Twitch a few days ago to stream in 2K, but I’m facing a problem. Even though I follow the instructions and have enabled “enhanced broadcasting,” my internet connection can’t handle it, and I get frame drops and lag. So I turned that feature off, but now I get a black screen. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I want to stream in 2K but record in 4K.
Klar, Amir! Hier ist deine Nachricht auf Englisch – klar und verständlich formuliert, wie man es in einem Forum schreiben würde:
In OBS, both my Base (Canvas) and Output resolution are set to 4K. However, for streaming, I downscale the resolution to 1080p (in the Stream settings).
When I do it this way, everything works perfectly – no issues.
But the moment I change the downscale resolution to 2K (instead of 1080p), things start to lag again and I get performance issues. If I switch it back to 1080p, everything works fine again.
Does anyone know why 2K causes problems even though it should be easier than full 4K?
Let me know if you need any adjustments!
