I have tried everything and I WANT to use OBS, it has much more features than nvidia shadowplay but I can´t get it to work,NOT EVEN with this low af settings please HELPP

I dont believe it´s a PC problem:

• GPU: GeForce GTX 970
• CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz
• memory: 32 GB RAM (31.95 GB RAM free)
• Resolución actual: 1920 x 1080, 144Hz
• Sistema operativo: Microsoft Windows 10 Home

Also I have +10000Kbps in Madrid,Spain server

Here is my config:

1526825421159.png

1526825450002.png

I dont know if its a Fortnite problem or a PC IDK
Strange fact, when i toggle off the game , it runs smoothly on stream WTF?
Please help I really want to use tools that make the stream much more entertaining and engaging.
ALSO MY FORTNITE SETTINGS ARE NOT REALLY DEMANDING

HERE ARE THE COMPARISONS BETWEEN A STREAM WITH THE SAME SETTINGS BETWEEN OBS AND SHADOWPLAY + THE TASK MANAGER AND THE CPU AND GPU USAGE WHILE STREAMING: (I just realised this while posting the links, the matter of fact is OBS only captured around 4 frames LOL near the end is the task manager so you can see the GPU usage is around 100% and in Nvidia shadowplay is 50% ang GPU is 40%)
SAME SETTINGS: 6000 bitrate, 1920X1080 60fps

Disable gameDVR.

Enable VSYNC or limit your ingame frame rate to 60.

Thanks for your attention Volfield,
Where can i disable Game DVR? Its not an OBS setting right?
Also VSYNC is a game setting? thanks in advance

D

Deleted member 121471

For gameDVR:

Start menu--->Cogwheel on the left OR Windows key + i, select "Gaming" in the newly opened window then disable every single option in every single category.

VSYNC or Vertical synchronization is a game option.

You could try "High Quality" preset under NVENC settings instead of "Default" and 720p@60FPS, which IMO is the sweetspot for smoothness and resolution, since the majority of people I've talked to keep chat open or watch over mobile.

One more question , i have +10K bitrate at Madrid server, whats the best bitrate to stream?
Also does the bitrate means +more bitrate better quality?
Or maybe lowering it makes for a more smooth stream?

D

Deleted member 121471

Higher bitrate = higher quality, though there are diminishing returns past a certain number.

At this time, Twitch allows a max of 6000Kbps so 720p@60FPS would need 3500-5500Kbps, depending on the game.

If you're an affiliate and have quality options on your stream, always go for 5500Kbps. If you're not, be aware that higher bitrates might result in fewer viewers being able to watch due to slower internet speeds on their end and buffering as a result.

Not sure if this is a dead forum or my issue is simular since the links dont work anymore but i have this slight stuttering issue with my video recordings and streams, Nvidia Highlights are always smooth and crystal clear, Ive tried the everything mentioned thus far and here are my settings and appearance:https://streamable.com/bmlyx8

You need to contact Streamlabs for support with their product. This thread is also two years old.
