Hey there, having a weird problem, been using OBS for years now and it always worked fine, now its a weird situation which i still cant find a fix that works permanently.
I used to have some Browser links such as Follower overlay etc. and they always seem to work great with low CPU usage (0.4% etc.).
Now the problem is, that OBS itself uses 30%+ just in idle without any stream running with my current scene.
We fixed the issue with high CPU usage by creating a new empty scene and it immediately dropped from 30% to 0.2% CPU usage, added my Browser links and the entire overlay again like i had before and it still kept on 1% CPU max.
After a restart of OBS we are back at 30%. Weird.
Basically the fix currently is to reset the scene all the time and add all the stuff back until i restart OBS and it repeats itself.
Tried a clean install without any plugins etc. and it does not make any difference.
Any ideas?
Greetings!
