Question / Help Black Screen

Hi, i downloaded OBS today hoping to record some gameplay.

I am using a laptop
I tried running with admin

Still nothing, any ideas/

Ok go to scene and in the box next tonit right click and add window capture. Then (you must have game running before you add the scene) select your game. And stream as you normally would.
Hopefully that fixes it. Also to change the window right click on the window capture tab you had just made and change the window.

now it works but it is really poor quality!! how can i fix the quality, when i have good quality it lags. i need a good balance.
