Best OBS Recording Setup for Reaction Channel, and for Editing in Davinci

I believe I have overloaded from watching OBS and Davinci videos, to the point that I am not sure what is the best recording setup. The most recent Scene I created I used the Source Record Filter. I am testing between a Logitech Brio webcam or my Iphone 13. I just want to avoid causing myself issues in Davinci. As I am learning both Apps.
So my question again is, What's the best or recommended setup for recording videos for a reaction channel? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Almost all videos about "best" settings for OBS were made for old versions of OBS not suitable for current version.
The best way to get a reasonable good quality without breaking your head against a wall is running the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu) selecting recording as main use. Let it do it's things. Once done, apply the settings it gives. Restart OBS.
Notice you are on simple output mode (output settings) so do not change this. Look in the Recording section. If by any chance in the Recording Quality says same as stream, change it to something else and test. Indistinguishable quality is managed well by most hardware. Video Encoder should be something DaVinci can read. For recording format it's advised to use mkv just in case something went wrong and cut short the recording, like a power outage, so you can still recover what you recorded up to this moment. Then you can remux it (File menu) into mp4 if needed.
Also, DaVinci may need lots of memory to run smoothly. A minimum of 32 GB is advised.

For how to configure a plugin you should go directly to this particular plugin page and read (first) and ask (if no one did it yet) on the discussion section of it.

Hey thanks for the reply and information. I just recently maxed my ram to 32gb. Also, I have the plugin installed and working. However, I'm still trying to determine whether my scene recording setup is correct for what I want to accomplish.
