Question / Help Batman Arkham Knight and most games. When I launch the game I get a black screen, and my monitor shuts off.

So before the last few days, I was able to stream with no issue. Today I can't. The last few days trying to stream I've ran into a odd problem. If I have OBS open when I try and launch a game the game launches in a black screen and then my monitor or HDTV will shut off. All drivers, mobo, gfx, network are up today. For a work around I found starting the game first then launch OBS, which has helped but I will crash in about 45-60 min.

I know Batman Arkham Knight has it's problems, but in the past I've been able to stream just fine with no startup issues or crashes.
Other games are doing this too.

I do use NDI to stream other than that I am not sure how to proceed to trouble shoot this. All setting look right.

Any suggestions?

Hi! Please post a log file. It contains your OBS settings as well as useful diagnostic information. It's difficult to suggest actions to take without that information.

You should update OBS Studio and the obs-ndi plugin and runtime on both PCs. You have to update to OBS Studio 21.1.2 manually from this website (the Home or Download page). You can download the obs-ndi plugin from its plugin thread.

I don't actually see a game capture attempt in that log file. Was the game running during this session?

The issue seems to be game related. Frame rate drop in 2nd part of airship missions. Once I got past this part everything ran great and crashes stopped.
