I have an absolutely ancient AVerVision 355AF document camera that my school let me take out at the beginning of quarantine. I've never really successfully got it working with my Windows 10 system, but I'm trying now.
When I use the software that came with the device, I get a fairly reasonable field of view from the camera down onto the table. However, when I use any kind of non-manufacturer software, I get a much more restricted field of view. I'm trying to use OBS so I can switch back and forth between my document camera, webcam, and screen sharing seamlessly, but with the restricted field of view it's not useful. (I should say that I'm trying to teach using Google Meet, and I'm selecting OBS as the video input.) When I try to ask Google Meet to use the document camera directly it the same field of view as with OBS. I've been through all the settings in the AVer software to see if there is anything. Now I'm wondering if there is something I can do in OBS to get a larger field.
