Question / Help Audio popping/skipping issue

So whenever I preview/record/stream a scene with any audio being played (music, game sounds, youtube), I get random, annoying popping/skipping sounds that almost sound like clipping. This seems to only occur on my end, as the recordings sound just fine.

My equipment is as follows:
  • Logitech C615 Webcam
  • Blue Snowball USB Mic
  • M-Audio Firewire 410 Audio Interface
It definitely seems to be an issue with the camera as when I remove the camera source, the problem goes away. I've read where people have lowered their camera resolution and had success, but this seems to me like a poor workaround (I have to lower mine pretty significantly to get it to be constantly clear). I've tried different USB ports as well.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Enable Aero and lower your webcam resolution to 720p. the popping and skipping is more than likely your USB being saturated by 1080p video from the webcam.

enabling aero is better for accelerated hooking of applications in most cases.

I dropped my webcam res to 1280x720 and enabled aero within Windows ("Disable Aero" was already unchecked within OBS), and it seems to have helped significantly. There are still tiny pops here and there, though not nearly as bad.

Feel free to post another log if you have further issues.
