An issue regarding audio on my PS3 capture began happening randomly a few weeks ago and I'm kind of at my wits end trying to figure out how to fix it and really hope someone here can help. I'll post all the information I know about it here.
Firstly, here's an example of the issue happening. I clipped a few seconds before it starts happening and then you can see the abrupt change of when it occurs: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/861571391 .
I'm up to the current date of OBS as of posting this, I'm running the PS3 in question through an HDMI splitter (to avoid HDCP problems) and then through an Elgato HD60 S and from that into OBS. The weirdest thing to me is that it both affects my own microphone and only happens when using the PS3. I ran a Switch through the same splitter and didn't touch any settings and it ran fine.
Here's the log of the video that I linked with the audio issues: https://obsproject.com/logs/Z2Mhr2LG9u393FST .
Thank you so much for any help that someone can provide in advance!!
