I've been experiencing an increasing audio delay/de-sync while recording gameplay. The delay increases over time and is only in the game audio, not the mic. I have checked the sample rate to make sure they match, tried both 48 kHz, and 44.1. I have tried lowering my "Audio Bitrate" from 320, to 256, to 192. I have my "Desktop Audio" set to my headphone output (since that's the audio out I use), and also tried "Default". I've reinstalled OBS; reinstalled all audio drivers, even updated my bios.
I have lost probably 30 hrs of recording and re-recording to this issue in the last week and a half.
The issue is also not constant. It doesn't happen "Every Time". Everything will be fine in one session, or two, and then I'll go to check a recording segment and there's a 2-8 second delay.
Any ideas?? Is there some automatic buffering that I can disable?
