Audio Crackling/Choppy Suddenly

I was changeng settings in OBS, and then suddenly the mic adio is crackly/choppy. How can I troubleshoot this furthur? I have done everything I could think of.

What *have* you thought of? And what did it do?

Recordings and log files would be good too, especially if they're from the same session, and the recording shows both the process and the result. Help -> Log Files -> Upload... Then copy/paste the URL that it gives you, both here and into the automated analyzer that you can get to from my signature.

Where did you get it? And how was it modified?

I have tried changing the encoder, the resolution, the format, and the CPU usage. Changing settings has not yet resolved the issue, even when I attempt to reset them to the defaults.

I fixed it by deleting the contents of the settings folder.
