Question / Help AMD graphics recording on laptop?

Hi i am trying to record monitor and or window an my laptop thats AMD so could any of you tell me how to get OBS to work with it since the preview looks fine yet the recording when i check after recording is all black

You'll need to use OBS Studio instead, and use the multi-adapter compatibility option with a window or game capture source. This is a limitation of AMD's switchable graphics laptops and their poor driver support.

When you add a window or game capture source in OBS Studio (NOT OBS Classic, which you're currently using) it's one of the check boxes that appears in the source's properties window.

ok but haha i just realized the prob was it was a flv thing now i changed it to mp4 i can use both obs versions but thx it was a fix aswell
