It works for my webcam... but not other things like display capture or game capture...
Anyone else?
Anyone else?
Alt cropping seems to only work if I don't hit Ctrl + F (which I do to make certain things big enough to see right away). Once you do that (probably why it doesn't seem to work for game capture?) you have to reset the transform in order to be able to alt crop again.

Feature, not a bug. You must setup Bounding Box Type to 'No bounds' first. Cropping must complete first from the filters, later you can adjust its settings through the Transform menu...
Lucky boy. I'm about an hour couldn't beat the openbox built-in alt-dragging feature (linux)...Noted.
I can see this now. To the average user, like me, this is a bit hidden. I feel as though it could be a bit easier to figure out for users. Thanks, though.
Yea, I should have noted it in the changelog. It currently does not work with bounding box scaling turned on. You have to turn that off first, do your cropping, then turn it back on after. I'm terribly sorry about that by the way -- bounding box functions a bit differently and made it a bit difficult. I just didn't have time to get it in at the moment.
Under Transform>Edit Transform... menu.Love this program. Thank you for creating it.
Don't understand how to get alt cropping to work. [I use Ubuntu 16.04]. Please, where is bounding box scaling turned on and off? Strongly suggest step-by-step instructions [both for this feature or fix, and for all the others that might arise] for the many of us who don't understand the insiders' lexicon.
Still no joy on the alt-crop situation. Using Ubuntu 16.04. Bounding Box scaling turned off. Lock Preview option unchecked. Source not locked.
I changed the keyboard shortcuts for the HUD and for the Terminal so they did not include the "Alt" key. I note however that depressing the Alt key [in Ubuntu] underlines the shortcut letter of the items in the Title Bar, and pressing the highlighted key drops down the menu for that item.
Is it possible that this is preventing alt-crop? I wonder if other Ubuntu users are able to alt-crop?
And please don't think I'm complaining. OBS Studio is a fabulous program and I'm grateful you've released it at no cost.
