AFTER LATEST UPDATE, OBS IS GETTING ENCODER OVERLOAD A LOT AND CRASHING VERY OFTEN

i updated to( 31.0.1 ) 2 days ago and i absolutely regret it. since then my obs is getting ENCODER OVERLOAD very often, and its crashing very often as well.
even streaming at 720p i'm getting these issues (i used to stream to 1080p without any issues at all) my computer is not "that" bad and i never had these issues but now its unbearable.
i even installed everything again and went back to version 31.0.0 but i'm still having the same issues. (i still didnt try to delete absolutely every obs file)

my Specs are
- Ryzen 5 5600g
- rx6600
-32 gb RAM 3200mhz

here are some log files:

i find it super weird that in both Logs it says "Encoder Start Error" and also i tried to use the encoder that uses my CPU instead of my GPU and it got extremely bad even tho i was just playing ROBLOX. nothing too demanding at all.

Also i'll attach a pic of the latest crash i had while playing Marvel Rivals.

when i'm not streaming i can play anything without any issues at all. but now its just impossible for me to stream due to this. i dont know what else i could try i just have that option of deleting everything from OBS and starting again but i really dont wanna try that :(

I HAVE seem people here on the forum having the same issue as well and also on twitter some people is complaining about similar issues realted to the latest update. i dont know if all of these is realted but i started with this problems since i updated OBS. i had none of this isues before.

i deleted everything. tried with an older version nothing worked and whats more weird is this log:

chats by literally just spamming emotes and channel points. my CPU and MEMORY were both at 100% by my chat just doing that (even tho i have 32gb of ram) why is OBS consuming all my ram??? none of this happened just a couple of days ago

Follow steps listed here https://obsproject.com/tools/analyzer?log_url=https://obsproject.com/logs/FeU1jGIGdaOTVoOi+

You don't need Multiple Game Captures, that can cause issues, and looks like CPU and GPU getting overloaded
Thanks for your answer but that solves nothing. because as i said. i have changed nothing on my OBS i have Multiple game captures because thats how i do my streams its not something i can easily change but still with all of that i have had no issues at all for many months. NOW after the latest update everything is just not working anymore. the absurd CPU and GPU overload you see on the latest log is because i asked my chat to spam emotes and Channel points to PROVE that obs is the issue. why OBS is taking all my memory and Procesor???

i did the same later on Streamlabs and nothing happened. same conditions i remade the same Scene. there is clearly something Wrong with OBS on my computer and i have also seen other people with the very same Issues but nobody seems to have a clear answer :(

Rendering lag is GPU overload, plain & simple & you got plenty of it.
15:15:59.276: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 5337 (5.7%)

Audio is slow, this indicates system overload.
15:16:23.733: audio_thread(Audio): min=0.012 ms, median=1.041 ms, max=566.139 ms, 99th percentile=13.244 ms

Your Graphics Thread is beyond slow
15:16:23.734: obs_graphics_thread(16.6667 ms): min=0.056 ms, median=1.38 ms, max=1814.97 ms, 99th percentile=43.471 ms, 95.3437% below 16.667 ms

Your Sources are slow
15:16:23.734: ┣tick_sources: min=0.001 ms, median=0.122 ms, max=1619.32 ms, 99th percentile=9.425 ms

Rendering lag.....
15:16:23.734: ┗render_displays: min=0 ms, median=0.078 ms, max=192.865 ms, 99th percentile=11.301 ms

I would create New Scene Collection with just (1) Scene/Source & test without all the baggage in the current Profile.

I looked through your old logs & noticed the SE plugin was installed in one of them but was removed at some point. You should un-install/re-install OBS if not done so already.

With that hardware, I would be running OBS v27.2.4. Gen6 & older are no longer supported & it's the last version that supports your iGPU, you should be able to encode with it again if you rollback.

Crash appears to be from a Browser Source.
Thread 1A2C: CrBrowserMain (Crashed)

Disable Game DVR

Fix your Scenes, multiple Display, Game Or Window captures in the same Scene can cause interference.

Current iGPU driver is older than what's available
Driver Version: 10.18.10.5161

This one is still older than dirt but newer than the installed.
Version: 15.33.50.5129

Here's another, looks slightly newer than what's posted in the above link.

Did your bandwidth issues happen to start after the last Windows update? I read that update KB5049981 for W10 messes up some USB devices. I don't know anything about this but it appears to connect via USB.

at this point i'll just install an older version and do all my scenes all over again.

i'll say if it worked or not here to tell other people.

but as i said all of this started since i updated to 31.0.1 and none of this issues happen with Streamlabs (i literally tried streaming after exporting all my scenes there)

Cool, you'll get better traction/load balancing & hopefully performance.

There's not much RAM in that system so keep your Scene simple on the rebuild.

If you look at the bottom of your log, you'll see the Audio & Video threads are slow for even 30FPS. Even a source or 2 are slow. The good news is there's plenty of room for improvement. Although, I do think the driver will need to be updated as well.

Okay update here. i fixed it. i did an stream of 1:30h where i tried to stress it as much as possible with things that caused problems before and nothing happened. it worked perfectly.

- i deleted everything and re installed an older version ( 30.2.3)
- i did my scenes from scratch and i tried to make them more clean and without so many sources like i used to have.

it worked just fine. i still have to add some other browser sources and stuff and i also used to have a lot of filters and some plugins for obs. so i'll just try to add whats necessary.

thanks everybody
