Bug Report Advanced Audio Properties - Sync offset NOT WORKING MacOS

Hi! I'm desperately looking for help. My audio is not syncing at all to my video!

I'm using a Sony a6400 for video and it is connected to Sony Imaging Edge app, then I'm telling OBS to use that feed as Window Capture and I'm able to see it's feed on OBS no problem, there is however more than a second of delay here. As for audio, I have a Xenyx 302 USB which is a USB/Audio Interface 5-Input Mixer where I'm connecting a mic where the headset goes. I also have Ableton live feeding into this Audio Interface. Basically what I would like is to clap and see the video coming from my Sony a6400 into OBS and match the audio I hear to that image. No matter what I do in the Advanced Audio Properties Sync offset or how many MILISECONDS I add, it does not delay the audio at all and therefore I'm not able to sync audio and video EVER! I'm sooo frustrated! It's been days!! Please, somebody help me!

Sync Offset only affects output (recorded file, live stream to RTMP server). It doesn't affect audio monitor output.

You can setup NGINX-RTMP as a local confidence monitor:

Or you can use NDI output if you already have it-- the current downloads for MacOS NDI and the NDI plugin are broken.

I am having the same problem, my video comes in 2 seconds behind my desktop stream, and 1.5 seconds behind my audio stream coming from my DAW, when I record a clip and bring it into a video editor no matter what sync offset I set on any audio or video on my stream the problem is not fixed as evidenced by the clip not being aligned in the editor. Is this a bug? I’m on version 25 for Windows 10. How do I resolve this?

do you use positive values? Looks like negative values have no influence. Try to add +1500 ms audio offset and record it. Then check the sound.
