Please note:
I'm very new to this audio thing so pros please be a little patient with me.
I recently got a job recording audio and this prompted me to upgrade my setup from junk mixer carrying game sound and mics to a USB audio interface (this one: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/focusrite-scarlett-8i6-usb-audio-interface) that took game sound and mics.
The advantage is it can record multiple tracks and it sounds SO NICE. The problem is I've found getting one clear stereo sound out of it to be a pain in the behind.
My advice? Make OBS compatible with interfaces that have more than 2 channels, allow us to mix in the ones we want and the ones we don't.
If anyone knows this stuff better please speak up!
Unrelated note: I feel very demanding when I ask for things on free programs but the people behind OBS seem nice, so I went for it!
Thanks for OBS, it rocks.
