I have two problems, both I have searched for and found no solution to. Maybe I missed it but I'm tired of googling and searching forums so I'll try my own thread

The first is qsvhelper.exe crash. I get "Error: QSVHelper.exe was killed, encode failed" after 20mins or so of streaming no matter what my settings or bitrate are.here is the log for that one

The second concerns window capture. It now only captures whatever was in the window when capture began and then nothing else. Like a screenshot of the window at start of capture and thats it. Example when using it for twitch chat window it captures the chat window but doesn't update the chat box as people continue to chat, oddly enough my mouse pointer can still be seen moving around the window but the window contents itself are not being updated live. this happens now even if I switch back to x264

Any help would is appreciated and thanks in advance guys

I might have the same issue. It so happens that I have the same CPU and GPU that you do, and I encode audio with the same codec and bitrate.

What I'm thinking at this point is there might be an issue with the overlays provided by Steam (your Borderlands game) and Battle.net (my Heroes of the Storm game). I haven't tested this, but I wonder if I can make it crash by Alt+Tabbing.

EDIT: Oh, question for you: Do you play your games in Windowed-full screen mode? I usually do.

I noticed you are all using the highest preset for quicksync, I normally tend to use the middle or lower presets, especially for 1080p recording on my i7 4770. Maybe you could try that too, the quality difference is to my experience not that big.

For the window capture, it can be a problem if a window is running on one gpu and obs on the other. You could try the compatibility mode checkbox in the window capture settings.
