I recently updated my system to the latest NVIDIA 526.98 drivers, and ever since then OBS crashes when I start it minimized. (--minimize-to-tray)
It also happens when I use the start minimized checkbox in the settings.

Hi everyone, it's been frustrating my relationship with obs for years...it always seems not to work when most needed.
Recently I bought a hp pavillion gaming with a i5-9300h and a intel hd 630 + a nvidia gtx 1650.
Obs studio the first install didn't work. After reinstalling it started working...
I've also tried 800x600. It works fine at native resolutions. I'm using nvidia-driver-435 (Version 435.21-0ubuntu0.18.04.2). I've linked the latest log file, but I'll paste the relevant lines here.

I am currently trying to get OBS-Studio to use the NVENC encoder instead of x264 on Gentoo Linux.
OBS simply crashes without a proper error code or anything when trying to start the stream. I linked both the log from OBS and the obs --verbose terminal output.

Since Mid-May streaming with x264 is causing rendering lag but not NVENC.
Only happens to the Nvidia system with GTX1080 with 8700k but not the AMD system with R9 Fury with 4770.
I was able to stream without any issue.
