Vortexia is a browser-based, GPU-accelerated audio-reactive visual engine for streamers and DJs. There is no plugin to install: you set the look on a dashboard, copy one URL, and add it to OBS as a Browser Source.
Free tier, no card, no time limit — a tier rather than a trial. Three engines (Genesis, Flux, Inferno), three presets, 720p at 30fps with a small watermark, and Twitch integration.
How it reacts: the browser reads the audio your stream is already playing and runs a 128-bin FFT every frame, split across bass, mid and treble. A kick and a cymbal at the same volume produce visibly different motion.
Platform events: Twitch follows, subs, gift subs, bits, raids and hype trains (begin, progress and end); Kick follows, new subs, renewals, gifted subs and Kicks; Streamlabs donations.
Manual triggers: a private URL per effect (sub, donation, raid, hype train, bits, follow) that works with Stream Deck, Touch Portal, Bitfocus Companion, Streamer.bot or TikFinity. Available on every plan, including Free.
Engines: Genesis (Mandelbrot), Flux (Julia), Inferno (Burning Ship), Nemesis (Tricorn), Zodiac (cubic Multibrot), Rhythm (beat-synced tunnel), Mandelbulb and Menger Temple (raymarched 3D). Thirteen presets across the eight.
Requirements: OBS 21 or newer (Browser Source is built in), and a GPU with WebGL 2.0. Windows, macOS and Linux — it runs in the browser engine OBS already ships.
Pricing: Free forever at 720p/30 with a watermark. Plus is $4.99/month or $49.99/year — removes the watermark, unlocks 1080p at 60fps and all eight engines and presets, and adds YouTube, Kick, TikTok and Facebook. Pro is $14.99/month or $119.99/year and adds 4K at 60fps plus a logo overlay. A $149 one-time lifetime licence is available until 31 December 2026.
