Better Points has been rebuilt from scratch and renamed to
BetterStreams.
Better Points was a channel point tool. The only trigger was channel point redemptions, and the main use case was running OBS actions when someone redeemed a reward. BetterStreams keeps all of that but expands into a full stream automation platform.
What's new:
Triggers:
- 19 trigger sources instead of just channel point redemptions
- OBS triggers: scene changed, stream state changed, record state changed
- Twitch triggers: subs, cheers, raids, follows, chat messages, hype trains, ad breaks, shield mode, gift subs
- Giveaway triggers: state changed, entry added, winner picked
- External triggers: webhooks, API
OBS actions:
- Change scene
- Change source visibility and transform (position, scale, rotation)
- Toggle source filters
- Update group sources (batch show/hide)
- Return to initial scene (reverts to whatever scene was active when the trigger fired)
- Multi-source targeting (show/hide multiple sources in one action)
Twitch actions:
- Send chat message, send announcement
- Toggle reward enabled state
- Start commercial, snooze ad
- Create clip, send shoutout
- Add/remove VIP, timeout, warn
Conditions system:
- Gate automations on current OBS scene, streaming/recording state, or Twitch context
- AND/OR logic between conditions
- Conditions also work on reward auto-enable/disable rules
Rewards:
- Reward profiles (RewardSets): group rewards by game or context, toggle entire sets on scene change or game switch
- Reward analytics: track which rewards viewers actually use, popularity trends over time
- Cost scaling: prices adjust dynamically based on usage, reset each stream
Other:
- Giveaway system expanded: 8 entry sources, ticket-based weighting, timers, winner history
- Text-to-speech for chat messages and redeems
- Events support multiple execution modes (sequential, parallel, random, weighted, shuffled)
Requirements: OBS Studio v28+, OBS WebSocket Server enabled, Twitch account, modern browser.
