I'm confused. Is this out of the box ready for Mac or do I need to make sure those specific permission I had read on your site are permitted in order to use it. If so, I tried to get those permissions and couldn't figure it out. Thanks.

As I am not familiar with MACOS since I can't really afford one yet , the changes for the macOS were done by this person https://github.com/tcb678 you can also ask https://www.youtube.com/@TechCoachRalph he managed to make all my plugins work on MACOS and even has some tutorials on his channel.

I'll look into it. Thanks.
Well, I just remembered this was the reason why I had asked you about permissions and the reason for my confusion. I went to that site before you gave it to me. I had surfed around and it told me I needed " macOS: Requires a Quartz event tap and Accessibility permission for global mouse tracking." Also, that other link the man had several videos, but I didn't see one about Zoominator. However, On my own I went back and set some parameters and it worked! Woohoo! Thank you so much! .....for right now I can just zoom "window capture" source, but I should be able to do all of OBS, correct? I'll play around with it more and get back to you. Thanks again!

Yes, working with global hotkeys cross OS is a bit confusing, let me know if you get it working for yourself

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! You really care about your plugins and the people who use them! Your fix was quick! The ease of use is incredible for Mac now! However, I need to figure out how to use it on all of OBS. Right now it only works with the options in that window. The others don't show up. I think that mouse follow button is what I should be using, right? Thanks so much!

I didn't manage to test the previous version but just installed 1.4.0 and can confirm it is working as expected now.
  • Main Monitor: 3840*2160 res
  • Win scaling: 125%
  • Secondary monitor not in use for OBS capture
Thank you very much for an extremely useful tool.
Glad it works as you expected :D many thanks to this awesome community for all the support and kind words, it keeps me motivated to continue.

I don't think this is a Mac or Win question, but it might be? I think it might just be settings I needs need to learn in Zoominator. I believe Zoominator can zoom almost everything in OBS, but for now my options seem limited. Under select source my options are : window capture and display capture and sometimes media. How do I use it for other sources and whatnot? Can you or somebody else tell me how to set it up on a Mac. I get lost in those tutorial links you gave me above. Thanks so much!

Zoominator only works on sources that can provide a bounding box size Display, Window, Game, Media
