Question / Help XCAPTURE-1 sound crackly

Recently the sound coming from the capture card has been crackly at first I thought it was my HDCP bypasser as it was the newest edition to the team HOWEVER I have tried PS2 and gamecube and the sound is still crackly. I desperately need help I have only had the card around a month and it had been working fine up till Thursday.

I have the Xcapture-1 and have never had this issue. However, just try unplugging it and replugging it.

It's quite odd to be honest. I was thinking maybe it is my pc audio drivers currently downloading the latest version. Its odd because the video is fine it's just a lot of poppin in the audio.

Problem is still persisting. Was hoping Paibox or Jim would see this as they seem very knowledgeable when it comes ot capture card. Does Solaris Japan allow returns for a non faulty version?

Is there no way to test the card for faults or anything? I am out of ideas. I have checked the wires, updated every single driver on my damn computer. The only thing that seems odd is if I remove the capture card driers and try reinstall them it only takes 2 seconds where when I first installed them it took a few minutes. This makes me think the drivers are not being fully uninstalled but I have no idea how to fully uninstall them. I NEED HELP BADLY! :S

Do you happen to have a log file? I'd like to see your system specs. (Also if you need help badly, make sure to come around the chat, and be patient and try to ask for help, it's a little more work but it'll give you results a faster than the forums usually. I've been too busy to read every thread as of late)

Sorry to come across so strong I was really annoyed yesterday as I had been trying to troubleshoot the card all day. Anyways Below is a log of when I try to stream with the capture card. The problem first arose on thursday when I was playing my second day of RDR, the voices were all robot like was weird. But the day before when I played RDr for the first time it was 100% fine. I thought it was my HDCP bypasser at first because it was new to the team, however I soon learned I was getting this with component and composite too and not just HDMI. The problem is poppin'/crackling in the audio and when people speak it is robotic. http://pastebin.com/xMK0RGEB

I apologize I was not aware of the chat I just found it :D.

Sorry to bump an old thread but was there any resolution to this, as I'm suffering the same problem.

I'm using the XCapture-1 for recording from a vcr via composite and s-video (same audio inputs) and I'm getting intermittent popping and cracking of the sound. I've tried all different cables, it seems more an issue with the capture box as I get minor crackling with sound only straight from my stereo, if anything the video just seems to aggravate it, the sound and video do share the same input lead.

I uploaded an example of what I'm hearing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PB57Ht0ATBo

Many thanks,
Pete
