Question / Help xbox one party chat

Okay im a new streamer and my set up is, xbox one, avermedia u3 cap card, i have the astro a40 with mixamp pro, and at2020 microphone and logitech c920 webcam. I already have obs set up to flawlessly stream my gameplay and live commentary with the at2020. I use my astro a40s with mixamp to play xbox and i have the mixamp pro plugged into my computer by the usb power cord so the computer powers my mixamp and it also sends sound to my mixamp so i can hear computer sounds on my headset along with xbox one. Now the last step to getting my stream set up is I need to figure out how to get the party chat to be heard on the stream. Can anyone please help me? I have searched for hours.

I have the exact same issue. Cannot for the life of me workout how to get Xbox One party chat to be picked up by OBS.

Using A40's with a Black Magic intensity Pro internal capture card.

This is more of a Xbox One thing than a OBS thing, OBS just recieves whatever the Xbox One sends to the capture device.

Osiris you are 100% correct and after playing around all evening i have found a fix that works for me.

Issue - OBS was not picking up ANY party chat on my Xbox One using A40 headset and amp

Fix - Xbox One settings > Devices & accessories > Xbox One Wireless Controller > Assign to someone > Guest

Basically for me I found that whenever i connected and disconnected the controller Party chat would get picked up on OBS for a brief second or two. By un-pairing it with your profile some how this allows party chat to come through and get recorded.

Hope this helps others, it drove me crazy and i've not seen this fix posted anywhere on my searches. I will be posting this in a couple of other OBS threads where it could help,
