Question / Help x264 CPU presets

now i have a i7 2600k at 4.0 and i want to know what is a good x264 cpu preset for streaming. i also only have one pc to stream and game on

i'm very new to settings and trying to learn

You should leave it at veryfast still. This will help ensure that all your games you try to stream will be smooth as possible. Stream quality is a nice thing to have, but content is all that people really want to see in the end.

Unless you want to spend the time to learn what each setting does, leave it blank. Too often people just copy and paste settings they don't understand then complain they have a laggy stream. If you want to learn you can of course, but since you say you are very new just leave things at default for now. It can get quite complicated very fast ;o
