Question / Help X capture-1 USB 3.0 questions

Greetings,

I have been wanting to purchase the x capture-1 for streaming purposes for some time now. I wanted to ask a few questions before I did however.

1- Does it have full integration with OBS and will it work with older platforms like the SNES and modern consoles like the Xbox one?

2- I do not have USB 3.0 ports on my PC, is the device functional with 2.0 or is there a work around?

3- If you own one of the capture devices, is it worth the extra buck for it?

Yes, it should work both older and newer consoles provided you're using one of the connection types the device supports.

It requires USB 3.0 for a reason. While it might work with the bandwidth provided by USB 2.0 at lower settings I don't think anyone would make any guarantees about it.

If you don't meet the minimum requirements I'm not sure if it's worth any money since there's no way to know if it will still meet your needs.
 
I haven't tried it myself, but I would not be surprised if it didn't work at all on USB 2.0, even at low resolutions.
