Question / Help X Box 360, Black Magic Intensity Pro, Twitch - Cant figure out how to stream

I was hoping someone could either point me to a guide on how to hook up my xbox 360, black magic intensity pro, and twitch, or guide me them selves.

I have watched several videos and I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm totally be down for some real time guidance via skype if anyone is interested in that. My skype name is denday77.

What is the reason it is not working? Video not showing up? is the BMI not showing up? If you have followed videos online and can't get it working you must have it setup to a point.

So let us know what you are stuck on to actually help because i can say how to connect everything up but it still might not work cause of other issues.

I have HDMI coming out of my xbox in to my BMIP. Then I have HDMI coming out of my BMIP into my monitor.

Then in OBS i use this set up guide found on Twitch http://help.twitch.tv/customer/portal/articles/1262922-open-broadcaster-software

Once this is all set up in OBS, I hit "preview stream" and I only stream a black screen.

Does that all make sense?

I should also ad that my BMIP capture card's HDMI pass through does work but only when "black magic media express" is in use and is the front most window on my computer. When I toggle to another window, the HDMI pass through shuts off and my monitor displays a black screen.

Yes essentially. I had to do some fooling around and I got help from a different thread. You have to make all the settings match across the X Box, BMIP Control Panel, OBS Video settings, and Source settings in OBS.

1) The X Box needs to be displaying at 720p.

2) The Black Magic Control Panel needs to be set to HD 720p 59.94 FPS.

3) The video settings in OBS:
-Base resolution - 1280x720
-Downscale resolution - None 1280x720
- I choose 60 FPS (I think you can decide what to put here. Its determines how many FPS your stream will be)

4) In Source box in OBS, double click the source you set up for you X Box 350. It should be the BMIP capture card. I set the custom resolution to 1280x720 and typed in 59.94 FPS.

Please let me know if anyone needs help.
