Wrong microphone instead of the camera, it's from the laptop

Hello

I have plugged my Sony Alpha 7 III Camera with USB C on my Computer and then add the + for the camera.
Everything looks fine so far, it's also recording, but it's using the wrong microphone, it's using the laptop instead of the camera. How can I change this ?

Beware camera mic input going to desktop OS sound system and getting picked up from there.
That image indicates the is no source source via the Sony. Are you sure that is working? even supposed to work? a number of cameras (DSLR, etc) with using USB do NOT support mic over USB. Have your read the camera manual in that regards?

As I advise elsewhere... start with getting audio and video working as desired/expected OUTSIDE of OBS to start with. Once working at OS layer, then add into OBS... makes troubleshooting so much easier. So often the issue is at the OS layer
