Question / Help Would this desktop stream console games (with Elgato) at 720p?

Asus Desktop
4th gen i7-4770 processor (seems really fast)
16gb ram
Dedicated graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 (I heard it's not the best)

Debating buying this one for streaming. I'm going to just stream console games with elgato.
I made a mistake buying a subpar desktop...and the best I can stream is 480. My internet is very good at least.

The CPU is good, but you're right that the GPU is really bad. If you can get a better GPU then you'll be in much better shape.

Thanks for the quick response! One quick follow up...so what happens if I do buy this specific computer and wait a few months to upgrade my gpu!
What do you think, in your good option, would my stream quality look like?

If you get a better GPU, then you should be able to stream at 720p just fine.

Thanks, I think I'm going to avoid buying a new desktop at all.
I have an amd a10 and I'm going to put a good (by streaming standards) NVIDIA card in there and see what that does for me!

Wait, I meant if you put a good GPU in the system listed above. An AMD A10 is an awful CPU. You need both a good CPU and GPU to stream well, not one or the other.

Well darn, before I read this I bought a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 card.

I'm going to install it into my computer tonight...and me not knowing much about computers yet, I'm going to see if it effects my streaming in any positive way at all.
