Hello Everyone,
I am currently getting set up to start streaming through twitch and I am unsure of the best approach to take, given my unique set up.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GGz 3.30 GHz
Memory: 8.00GB
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series
Hard Drives: I have two hard drives in my computer. One is a solid state drive that only has my windows and essential programs and drivers. The other is a regular hard drive that is partitioned into two with my programs on one and my files on the other.
What I am wondering is if it would be better to put Open Broadcaster Software onto the windows drive or in my with programs? I would like to put in with the other programs to keep my windows drive clean, however, if it will cause any loss to the quality or lag then I would be will to put it on my windows drive. Another option is to have it installed on my Windows and have OBS save and run from my programs hard drive but this seems like the laggiest option. Let me know what you think or any experience you can relate.
