Question / Help Windows capture not animated

I switched recently to Windows 8 Pro and now my OBS doesn't capture any changes inside window capture (i.e. chat from chrome).
I am running OBS 64bit (same as OS)
I am running both LoL and OBS as admin.

Screenshots are so wide because I'm using 3 monitors.
Example 1: http://i.imgur.com/U8ujgpQ.jpg
On the middle monitor I have League of Legends login screen and on the right obs with window capture of this LoL Launcher - its not moving. It used to work on windows 7.

Example 2: http://i.imgur.com/dD61FjX.jpg
Window capture of a chat window in chrome - doesn't work too, it only shows the first frame when adding and then doesn't update at all.

I don't think I need to provide my PC spec and any kind of log here.
Help please.

We actually do ask that anyone posting about an issue include a log file, please see https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/problem-make-sure-to-post-a-log-and-or-crash-dump-howto.97/

That said, are you running League of Legends in full screen mode? If so window capture isn't going to work. Window capture and monitor capture will only work if a game is running in windowed or borderless windowed mode. This includes capturing background windows like your browser, as a full screen game will cause those other windows to stop being rendered while it has focus.

No, I'm trying to capture the LoLLauncher window itself (not the game), as I said - it was working as intended on windows 7.
Also - when playing League of Legends im running it in borderless so I understand what you meant but that is not the issue here.

Log - there you go.

OBS and everything it's capturing need to be running on the same GPU. It looks like you're shifting some things from the monitors handled by your GTX780 over to the monitor handled by your HD3000, which isn't going to work.

What could've changed? Everything was fine on windows 7 with exactly the same setup (2 graphics).

I have no idea how you had things configured before, but needing to have everything running on the same GPU is not new. Just make sure OBS and the things you're capturing are running on your GTX780. If you don't need to capture it then it doesn't matter which monitor you put it on.

You were right, I disabled onboard iGPU and window capture is now working.

Any idea how to fix this? My third monitor is old (d-sub) and my GPU has only 2 DVI spots so I can forget (also I'm very limited with cables) about connecting it to hdmi. I'd like to remind that it was working fine with iGPU enabled on windows 7 :(

You shouldn't have to disable the iGPU or stop using a third monitor, you just have to make sure that both OBS and the windows or programs you want to capture with OBS are placed on one of the monitors connected to your GTX780.

I did as you said, didn't work -> http://i.imgur.com/R0TlvUB.jpg
Even if I add separate scene and only 1 window capture in it - it still doesn't work.

It doesn't matter where or what OBS is capturing. Enabling iGPU means not working window capture for me.
