Question / Help Windows capture is black all the time

Hi! Please post a log from an active streaming/recording session that shows your issue so that we can help!

That said, if you're trying to capture a Google Chrome window, you may want to check if hardware acceleration is enabled. To check this:
  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Open the Chrome menu
  3. Click Settings
  4. Scroll all the way down in the Settings page
  5. Click "Show advanced settings..."
  6. Scroll all the way down in the Settings page again
  7. Check the status of the option "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If it's checked, uncheck it, and try your Window Capture again.

If that's not the problem you're having, then please post a log, and we'll go from there.
 
Well i am trying to capture my game (growtopia) and when i used game capture to capture it it was invisible and nothing showed up. I full-screened the game and then made the game capture full-screen and it still didn't work. Then a few days ago i tried window capture and it worked. just yesterday it shows up black screened and game capture still doesn't work.
the only way i am able to stream a game right now is by using display capture and just crop out everything but the game.
 
Okay, then we'll still need a log to actually have a chance at diagnosing the issue.
