Bug Report Windows 8 Window Capture (Chrome) issue. (Tested)

Hey,

I've ran into an issue that I have tested, confirmed and found a work around for.

The issue:
Twitch pop out chat (chrome) constantly pops up the unresponsive error screen while actually still being responsive.
This is on windows 8, OBS has to be casting for this, and this only happens when OBS is active and you are WINDOW capturing the pop out chat.

The problem:
I have found out that the "type of window" that comes with windows 8 is not having a good time with OBS. Any other screen without this "windows 8 window screen" has no issue. anything else starts hating life itself.

The fix: Besides not window capturing that screen? For chrome you can right click the pop out and use it as a TAB and no errors at all. This becomes an issue though when you you are talking about windowed mode games like Isaac where you can't change the "window type"

Apparently having hardware acceleration in flash can cause this issue. Disable hardware acceleration by right clicking a flash object and going to properties and disable it.

Interesting that a adobe flash player hard acceleration option causes THIS error.
I will test it out and come back to this post to confirm / deny the solution!

Cheers!

I tested it and directly I have the issue again.

Hm, that's not the issue? I wonder what to do then. I'm not entirely sure. Could you see if it happen with another browser?

For some reason Fire Fox has issues for me so I have to check back that. But more and more people are reporting this issue. also on win7.

It only happens during casting.

Yea, others have definitely reported it, though I'm not entirely sure what's going on yet. I'll do some tests myself at some point.
