Hi guys

Whatever you did last time to fix the problems after Windows 8.1 update in May this year you need to do it again, since Microsofts latest patch day (yesterday) OBS became unusable again. No matter the settings, when its running every game feels like its running at 15 FPS. Not sure what Microsoft keeps changing here....

From the old 0.623 changelog:

* Fix game capture performance issues with the latest windows 8.1 update that was causing many games to lag (jim)

Maybe you need to revert the changes or adjust them yet again for the June update?

Many thanks in advance!

I believe the latest Windows Updates is what has caused Game Capture to stop working with Planetside 2.

There was a windows 8 update recently that caused some issues that will need a new patch.

I already have those DLLs, I just haven't uploaded a fix yet. I'm waiting on windows 7 equivalent of the DLLs.

It may not have actually. People have sent me versions that I already have on file. I think it was windows 8 only.

This was fixed in 0.625b, I confirmed it with multiple people. The issue you're having is with your network connection. If it's okay, could you create a new thread about it? In questions and help. It's not a bug or operating system related in your case. It's more just a connection issue.

We'll try to help you troubleshoot it, but most likely you probably just need to read this: http://obsproject.com/forum/threads/dropped-frames-disconnecting-lag-read-this-first.8870/
